Georg Appeltshauser

Born 1949, initially he studied precision mechanics at the FH Ulm. Subsequently he studied product design at the college of arts in Stuttgart.
He started as a technical consultant for various desing offices. Georg Appeltshauser founded his own design office 1979 in Stuttgart. The main emphasis of his work is focused in furniture design.

Philosophy 

"Furniture needs to be flexible and to adapt to the owner's requirements. I am inspired to forward furniture in regard to their mobility and convertibility to a further dimension."
