White Camouflage

The close-up view of each stone type shows a relatively true image of the crystalline structure and the colouring. This is suitable for grained slabs to a limited extend only. In regard to the colour matching, please take an original sample of the stone from your furniture store as a basis.

Petrography

The rock consists predominantly of calcite.

Petrogenesis

Limestones are formed when lime sludge, often together with fossil remains,is deposited on the seabed and solidifies under the load of layers above.  In this case, sporadic movements of the earth's crust occurred fractures, whereby  the fragments were later reconnected by solidifying lime mud. The result is a  so-called calcareous breccia.
