The PICCOLINO is a pure wooden chair, which Palterer designed already in the 90s and modified again and again. It has a smooth leather seat and belongs to the so-called "corner stools" as they were already in use in the Middle Ages. Also in the Napoleon Castle Napoleon's castle on Elba, they are also called "fauteuil de beureau". "fauteuil de beureau", which were very common in France in the 18th century. Characteristic of all these chairs is the semicircular backrest, which forms a unit with the armrests. Also the frame set above the corner and the frontal foot are important features of this so-called corner stool.
